The second quarter of 2025 saw varying performance trends among the top five auto applications on the Android platform in Costa Rica. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

OBDocker - OBD2 Car Scanner showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $78 in late April. Weekly downloads remained consistent, mostly hovering between 3 to 6 downloads, while active users increased steadily from 59 to 85 by the end of June.

Carmin experienced a rise in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $74 in the final week. However, downloads were sparse, with occasional peaks. Active users saw a decline overall, from 67 to just 6 by the end of June.

Testi Driving Cancellations UK maintained a stable revenue, ending the quarter at $21. Downloads were minimal, while active users remained relatively stable, increasing slightly to 45 by the end of June.

A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) had consistent revenue, with slight fluctuations, ending at $15. Downloads peaked at 98 in the final week of June, and active users showed a notable increase, reaching 609.

Encar had a steady revenue pattern, with slight increases, ending at $9. Downloads were low, while active users displayed slight growth, closing at 37.
