In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top news applications on a unified platform in Latin America showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, as per Sensor Tower's data.

X from X Corp. saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $120K by the end of March. The app's downloads fluctuated, starting strong with 564K in early January, dropping mid-quarter, and rebounding to 547K in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 58M throughout the quarter.

Reddit maintained a consistent revenue stream, with minor fluctuations around $700. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 166K in the last week of March. Active users showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter with approximately 5.2M.

Alerta Sísmica México - SASSLA experienced notable revenue fluctuations, peaking at $5.4K in late January. Downloads saw a sharp spike at the beginning of the quarter with 245K, but declined thereafter. Active users peaked at 1.8M in early January, stabilizing at around 190K by the end of March.
