In the first quarter of 2025, the top news applications in Colombia exhibited varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as analyzed by Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $8.4K by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw an initial spike with 52.7K in early January, before settling to approximately 32.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users hovered around 5.6M to 6.1M throughout the period.

Periódico EL TIEMPO - Noticias experienced steady revenue growth, reaching a high of $3.8K in mid-March. Downloads remained stable, averaging 600 per week, while active users increased from 5.4K to 8.2K, before declining slightly at the end of March.

The Economist - News, Podcasts saw its revenue trend upwards, peaking at $1.2K in mid-March. Downloads started at 147 and decreased to 110 by the end of the quarter. Active users maintained consistency, ranging from 771 to 806.

NYTimes: US and Global News had a modest revenue increase, with a peak of $735 in mid-February. Downloads remained relatively low, starting at 230 and reaching 241 by March. Active users grew steadily from 2.2K to 2.9K.

Bloomberg: Business News Daily saw minor revenue fluctuations, with a notable rise to $532 in mid-February. Weekly downloads consistently hovered around 300, while active users showed a gradual increase from 1.5K to 1.8K.
