In the first quarter of 2025, the top apparel apps in Italy showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of about 74K in mid-March. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, starting at approximately 7.2M and peaking at 8.3M during the quarter.

Zalando – Online fashion saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads early in the quarter, bottoming out at around 19K in mid-February before rebounding to 21K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, with numbers decreasing from 3.5M to 2.8M before rising again to 3.2M.

ZARA encountered a downward trend in downloads, which started at 35K and dipped to 9.8K in late February. However, a resurgence was seen in March, ending the quarter with about 15K downloads. Active users fluctuated slightly, closing the quarter at around 764K.

H&M downloads began at 25K and saw a decline until mid-February, then rose again to end March at approximately 12K. The active user base showed a similar trend, decreasing to 478K in early February and recovering to 622K by the end of the quarter.

JD Sports had a consistent decline in downloads from 23K at the start to a low of 7.8K in March, with a slight recovery towards the end of the month. Active users decreased from 142K to 102K mid-quarter, followed by a rise back to 138K.
