Top News Apps on iOS in Poland: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top news applications on iOS in Poland showed notable trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. saw a peak in weekly revenue around mid-February, reaching approximately $10K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, beginning strong in January with numbers around 8K, and seeing some dips before stabilizing at about 6.3K by the end of March. Active users remained robust, ranging from 830K to 900K throughout the quarter.

Reddit maintained steady weekly downloads starting at 5.5K and gradually decreasing to about 3.8K by the end of March. Revenue was relatively stable, with a slight peak of $245 in late January. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 196K to over 202K mid-quarter before settling around 195K.

Radio Republika had an interesting trajectory with downloads starting at 6.5K in mid-January and dropping significantly to just 220 by the end of March. Despite this, active users showed some resilience, peaking at 8.1K in late January and stabilizing around 4.6K later.

Substack experienced a varied quarter with downloads beginning at 492 and gradually increasing to 790 by March end. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $70 at the start and $52 at the end of the quarter. Active users climbed steadily from 4.8K to nearly 7K.

Google News had consistent weekly downloads, starting at 842 and ending at 408. Active user numbers were strong, peaking over 204K in late February, though there was a noticeable decline towards the end of the quarter.
