During the first quarter of 2025, the lifestyle app category on iOS in New Zealand saw varied performance among the top applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Z Energy App showed a notable peak in weekly downloads, reaching around 10.6K in mid-March. Throughout the quarter, its weekly active users increased from 38.6K to 56.5K, indicating growing engagement.

Pinterest maintained a steady download rate, with numbers slightly decreasing from 2.6K to 1.8K by the end of March. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 157.6K and 188.9K.

Google Home experienced a spike in downloads, reaching 4K in early March. However, its active users showed a gradual decline from 81.6K to 71.6K over the quarter.

Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet saw consistent weekly downloads around the 1.2K mark. Despite a slight decrease in active users from 15.3K to 13K, revenue remained stable, averaging about $16K per week.
