In the first quarter of 2025, the lifestyle app category on iOS in Kenya saw some interesting trends. According to Sensor Tower, these top five apps showcased varied performance in terms of downloads and active users.

Pinterest experienced a fluctuating download pattern. Starting the quarter with around 2K weekly downloads, it saw a significant jump, peaking at nearly 5K in early March. The app maintained a strong presence with its weekly active users, which increased from approximately 165K to 178K by the end of March.

The MySafaricom App showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching over 2.4K in the first week of March. Active users grew from about 15.5K to 17K, indicating a solid engagement throughout the quarter.

For Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway, downloads started modestly but surged to over 2.8K by the end of March. The app's active users demonstrated a consistent rise, ending the quarter at about 33.2K.

The Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat had a steady revenue stream, peaking at approximately $1.8K in mid-January. Downloads were stable around 700, while active users saw an increase from 6.9K to 8.7K.

Finally, Apple Invites, a newer entry, had a strong start with over 4.5K downloads in its first week. However, downloads decreased over the quarter, and active users also declined from about 3.4K to 1.3K.
