MOBA Apps Performance on Android in Nigeria: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, several Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) apps showed varied performance trends on the Android platform in Nigeria. Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users of these apps.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from MOONTON saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $3.1K in early March, while downloads reached their highest at around 16.3K in the week of January 20. Active users experienced a peak of 29.1K during the same week but showed a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter.

Hero Wars 2 Fighter Of Stick by Naomic Games maintained a steady presence with no revenue generated. Downloads started at 1.6K at the beginning of the quarter and gradually decreased to around 534 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around 12.6K.

TinyBytes’ Battle Cars: Nitro PvP Shooter showed no revenue but had varying download numbers, starting at 1.1K and decreasing to 194 by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 1K to a peak of 2.1K in February, followed by a slight decline.

Honor of Kings from Level Infinite experienced modest revenue, peaking at about $546 by the end of March. Downloads started at 564 and dropped to 203, while active users saw a slight decrease from 1.5K to around 1.1K.

Finally, Pokémon UNITE by The Pokémon Company had a strong revenue peak at $6.4K in early March. Downloads were minimal, starting at 257 and slightly fluctuating throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 2.5K, with minor fluctuations.
