Top 5 MOBA Apps on Android in Romania: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the Romanian mobile gaming market for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games on Android showed intriguing trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the performance of the top five MOBA applications.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by MOONTON maintained a strong presence. Its weekly revenue fluctuated, starting at around $19.6K and ending the quarter at $23.3K, with a notable peak of $25.9K in the week of March 24. Weekly downloads saw a mid-quarter spike, reaching approximately 2.5K in late February, while active users slightly decreased from 10.1K to 8.6K by the end of March.

League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games experienced stable revenue, starting at $5.1K and ending at $3.5K. Downloads gradually declined throughout the quarter from 1.1K to 416, and active user numbers also fell from 6.4K to 3.8K.

Honor of Kings by Level Infinite had modest performance. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $584 in late March. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 150-200 weekly, and active users hovered between 500 and 580.

Heroes Evolved showed limited activity with revenue peaking at $159 in early January. Downloads were minimal, dropping from 74 to just 3 by the end of March. Active users decreased steadily from 115 to 64.

Pokémon UNITE saw an increase in activity. Revenue started to appear in February, peaking at $163 in early March. Downloads surged to 835 in March, and active users increased from 6.8K to 7.8K, before dipping to 5.8K at quarter's end.
