In the fourth quarter of 2024, the utilities app sector in Austria demonstrated varied performance metrics across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google saw a peak in weekly downloads at approximately 10.5K in mid-October, before experiencing a gradual decline to around 7K by the end of December. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users fluctuating around 4.1M throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome exhibited an increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 11.5K in the week leading up to Christmas. Active users remained steady, hovering around 4M weekly.

Mein Magenta (AT) experienced a notable rise in downloads, peaking at 8.8K in late November. Weekly active users showed significant growth, climbing from 181K to over 250K by early December before settling back to 157K by year-end.

Microsoft Edge: AI Browser maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 3.5K weekly, with a small revenue peaking at $34 in early December. Active users increased steadily, reaching a high of 200K mid-December before a decline towards the end of the year.

Google Authenticator saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 5.5K in early December. Active users also showed a rise, peaking at over 200K in late November before tapering off to 153K by December's end.
