In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top 5 news applications in Turkey showed varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these developments on a unified platform.

X from X Corp. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a notable peak at approximately $129K in late November. Their weekly downloads started high at 200K, with a mid-quarter dip, before stabilizing around 76K in December. Active users remained in the range of 14.7M to 16.8M, showing a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter.

Reddit saw modest revenue, peaking at $217 in late December. Download numbers remained relatively consistent, ranging from 14.9K to 23.3K weekly. Active users were stable, fluctuating slightly between 874K and 957K.

Show TV did not generate revenue but maintained steady downloads, peaking at 14.5K in mid-December. Active users increased significantly, starting at 27.7K and reaching over 81.7K by the end of the quarter.

Hürriyet - Son Dakika Haberler reported low revenue, with a weekly maximum of $70 in mid-October. Downloads spiked in early November at 22.8K, before returning to a baseline of around 400. Active user trends showed an increase mid-quarter, peaking at 56.7K.
