Top Auto Apps in Oman: Q4 2024 Performance Analysis

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the auto app market in Oman witnessed varied performance trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Sooq Cars - سوق كارز maintained a robust presence with consistent weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 11.8K in late November. Active users showed an upward trajectory, climbing from 160.7K at the start of the quarter to 180.9K by the end.

omanoil experienced a significant surge in downloads early in the quarter, reaching 17.9K in the week of October 7. However, this was followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter with weekly downloads around 4.9K. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 39.8K mid-quarter before settling at 27.5K.

Shell Asia saw a decrease in both downloads and active users over the quarter. Downloads started at 1.9K and reduced to 1K by the end of December, while active users decreased slightly from 22.7K to 21.5K throughout the period.

Al Maha Plus had a notable spike in downloads in early November, reaching 3.3K, but this momentum slowed towards the end of the quarter.

Digital Mall المول الرقمي displayed growth in downloads, particularly in late November with a peak of 2.6K. However, this was followed by a decline, ending the quarter with 360 downloads.
