In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of leading auto applications in Oceania revealed significant trends in downloads and active user engagement according to Sensor Tower's unified platform data.

United saw a noticeable spike in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 66.4K in early December. This surge was followed by a decline towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to around 3K.

BPme maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, reaching a high of 20.2K in the week of October 21. Active users fluctuated, starting at 161.6K and peaking at 167.9K in December before ending the quarter at 139.7K.

carsales: Buy & Sell Cars consistently recorded around 11K weekly downloads, with a slight dip in early December, followed by a recovery to 11.6K by the end of the year. Active user numbers showed variability, peaking at 491.9K in mid-November before settling at 426.1K in late December.

Petrol Spy Australia experienced a gradual increase in downloads, culminating in a peak of 12.9K in late December. Active users also rose, reaching a high of 435.3K in the same period.

Lastly, RACV showed a significant jump in downloads in late November, with numbers climbing to 37.3K. This was followed by a decrease, ending the quarter with 10.9K downloads.
