In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top utilities applications on iOS in Nigeria showcased interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in weekly downloads and active users.

Xender: Transfer, Share Files maintained a steady download rate, starting the quarter with around 25K downloads and experiencing a peak of approximately 30.7K in mid-December. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, with a notable increase from 1.78M to 1.87M towards the end of the quarter.

Google saw a consistent number of downloads, peaking at 29.1K in late October. The app's weekly active users consistently grew from 1.01M to 1.19M by the end of December.

Google Chrome experienced a surge in downloads in late October, reaching 30.3K. Active user numbers also showed a steady increase, rising from 2.34M to 2.57M over the quarter.

Google Authenticator had a noticeable drop in downloads after an initial high of 26.1K at the start of the quarter. Active users saw fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 285K.

Truecaller: Premium Caller ID maintained a stable download rate, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 10.3K. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 1.23M.
