In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top utilities applications on iOS in Germany showcased varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with approximately 81K downloads, it peaked at nearly 95K by mid-October, before declining to around 51K by the year's end. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 15.9M throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome saw a significant spike in downloads towards the end of the quarter. While early weeks recorded downloads in the 40K range, December saw numbers surge to over 93K. Active users for Google Chrome showed consistent engagement, maintaining levels around 12.3M.

AusweisApp Bund maintained a steady download rate, with numbers mostly in the 37K to 42K range, except for a dip in late December. Active users demonstrated a peak in mid-December, reaching approximately 361K.

Google Authenticator had stable download figures throughout the quarter, ranging from 26K to 30K. Active users increased steadily, peaking at over 1.1M in early December, although a sharp decline was noted towards the quarter's end.

MeinMagenta: Handy & Festnetz showed a growing trend in weekly downloads, starting at 24K and reaching 33K by early December. Active users saw a significant rise during the quarter, peaking at around 1.1M in early December before stabilizing.
