Top 5 iOS Shopping Apps in the US: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five shopping apps on iOS in the United States demonstrated varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 449K and peaking at 479K in mid-October. By the end of December, downloads stabilized around 445K. Weekly active users showed a general upward trend, starting at 20.7M and reaching 24M by the end of the quarter.

Capital One Shopping: Save Now experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 190K and peaking at 435K in late November. Active users also increased, starting at 879K and reaching approximately 1.3M by the end of December.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering between 310K and 364K. Active user trends were less consistent, beginning at 15.8M and dipping to about 12.6M mid-quarter before recovering to 13.9M by year-end.

Amazon Shopping showed consistent weekly downloads, generally ranging from 273K to 350K. Active users saw a slight increase, starting at approximately 68.8M and peaking at 78.2M in late November, before ending the quarter at around 74.6M.

Walmart: Shopping & Savings had a noticeable increase in downloads, peaking at 373K in late November. Active users also rose steadily, beginning at 23.3M and reaching a peak of 30.7M at the end of November.
