Top 5 iOS News Apps in Ecuador: Q4 2024 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends among the top five news applications on the iOS platform in Ecuador. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

X, from X Corp., experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.6K and peaking at $4.1K towards the end of November. Downloads showed a gradual decline from 2.8K to 2.4K mid-quarter, before rising back to 2.8K by the end. Active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating between 320K and 360K throughout the quarter.

Reddit exhibited a modest revenue trend, with a notable increase to $26 in the final week of December. Downloads were consistent, mostly ranging between 700 and 800 per week, and active users grew steadily from 13.3K to 14K by mid-December.

Telemundo Puerto Rico saw a significant spike in downloads, reaching 4.5K in mid-November, while active users rose from 300 to nearly 3K around the same period, before tapering off towards the end of the quarter.

Noticias Telemundo had a surge in downloads peaking at 3.5K in mid-November, which was reflected in a jump in active users, peaking at 2.5K around the same time. However, both metrics declined as the quarter progressed.

Finally, Telemundo 51 Miami: Noticias experienced a peak in downloads at 2.5K in early November. Active users showed a rise from 200 to 1.7K in mid-November, but saw a decline towards the end of the year.
