The fourth quarter of 2024 saw notable trends in the performance of top insurance apps on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we examine the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these leading applications.

Hastings Direct Insurance experienced a growth in weekly downloads, starting at 15.6K and peaking at nearly 19.8K by the end of December. The app's active users began at approximately 165K, fluctuating throughout the quarter, eventually closing at 155K.

For Admiral Insurance, weekly downloads showed a slight decline, starting at 13.4K and dipping to around 8.5K before rising again to 12.3K by the end of December. Active users displayed a similar pattern, starting at 111K, decreasing to about 72.8K, and bouncing back to 97K.

Cuvva saw weekly downloads ranging from 7K to 9.3K, while active users started at 66K, experiencing a decrease mid-quarter and recovering to approximately 49.6K by December's end.

Legal & General showed an interesting pattern, with downloads peaking at 26.8K mid-quarter and active users increasing from 17.3K to a high of 66.9K before stabilizing around 44.7K.

Lastly, MyAviva - Insurance & finance downloads began at 8.2K, decreasing to around 4.7K before slightly recovering to 6.8K. Active users started at 100K, experiencing fluctuations, but ended the quarter at approximately 112K.
