Top Books Apps on iOS in Portugal Q4 2024

During the fourth quarter of 2024, several book applications on iOS in Portugal showed noteworthy trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Amazon Kindle experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, with a significant peak at approximately 2K in the week of December 23. Despite fluctuating numbers earlier in the quarter, weekly active users saw a decline from about 17K in early October to around 13K by mid-December, before climbing back to 16K by the end of the year.

Kobo Books & Audiobooks showed a substantial spike in downloads, reaching nearly 2.7K in late December. Active users demonstrated a varied trend, starting at approximately 4K and increasing to around 5K by the quarter's end.

Goodreads: Book Reviews maintained consistent download numbers, with a sharp increase to 2.1K in the last week of December. The app also saw a steady rise in active users from 24K to over 30K by the quarter's conclusion.

Wattpad - Read & Write Stories had a relatively stable quarter in terms of downloads, peaking at 969 in late December. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $615 in late November. Active users steadily increased from 10K to nearly 14K by the end of December.

Finally, Audible: Audiobooks & Podcasts experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.6K at the start of the quarter. Downloads remained stable, with a peak of 383 in mid-November. Active users showed a gradual decline from 8.5K to 5.5K, with a slight increase towards the end of the year.
