In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top auto applications on iOS in New Zealand showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Z Energy App experienced a noticeable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.3K in early November before settling at approximately 2.3K by the end of December. Active users also saw a rise, from 43.4K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 48.9K in early December, before ending the year at 38.5K.

Gaspy maintained a steady download rate, with a significant increase in late December reaching 2.1K. Active users grew consistently, starting at 66.1K and reaching 85.1K by the end of the quarter. Revenue trends were modest, with weekly revenue peaking at $77 in late September.

BPme saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 1.1K and dropping to 789 by the end of December. Despite this, active users showed resilience, with numbers fluctuating between 28.3K and 36.2K throughout the quarter.

Waitomo demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, culminating at 1.3K in mid-November. Active user numbers also showed growth, reaching a high of 36.5K in late November before stabilizing around 34K at year-end.

Finally, Mobil New Zealand maintained consistent download numbers, averaging around 800 weekly. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, hovering around 31K.
