In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Android shopping app market in Venezuela saw notable performance trends among the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower’s data, these trends highlight shifts in user engagement and downloads.

Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace saw a remarkable rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 36K in early October and peaking at 118K in early December. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, fluctuating between 1.07M and 1.25M throughout the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 33.5K and reaching a low of 14.2K in late December. Active users showed a similar decreasing trend, with a dip from 1.26M to around 913K by the end of the quarter.

Mercado Libre: Compras online demonstrated stability in weekly downloads, averaging around 27K. Active users showed a slight increase early in the quarter, reaching a peak of 1.62M in mid-December before dropping to 1.35M at the year's end.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire had consistent weekly downloads around 21K, surging to 31K in the final week of December. The active user count varied, peaking at 281K in late November and stabilizing at 244K by December's close.

Cash Giraffe: Games & Rewards saw a decline in both downloads and active users from early October, with downloads starting at 31K and dropping to 9K in mid-December, before a slight rebound. Active users also declined from 53K to 35K by the end of December.
