In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of leading shopping apps on the Android platform in Ireland showed varied trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire began the quarter with a notable decline in weekly downloads, dropping from around 12.5K to 6K by late October. However, a resurgence was observed in December, closing with approximately 7.7K downloads. Active users peaked mid-quarter at 345K but showed fluctuations, ending the year at 314K.

Tesco Ireland maintained a consistent download rate, with a peak of 6.3K in early December. Active users displayed a stable trend, reaching a high of 439K mid-December before stabilizing at 438K.

Lidl Plus experienced a steady download pattern with minor fluctuations, peaking at 5K in mid-December. Active users saw a decline in late December, closing the quarter at 312K.

Dunnes Stores observed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 5.1K in early December. Active users also showed growth, with a high of 383K mid-December, ending the quarter at 356K.

SHEIN-Shopping Online began with a download rate of 6.3K, which decreased through the quarter, with a slight increase to 3.5K by the end. Active users saw a dip in December, ending at 357K.
