Top Shopping Apps on Android in the UK: Q4 2024 Insights

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom showed varied performance trends. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, highlights the key metrics of these applications over the period.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire started the quarter with a strong download count, peaking at around 118K in early October. However, downloads saw a general decline until a resurgence to approximately 75K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at nearly 4M and dipping mid-quarter before recovering to close the year at around 3.9M.

AliExpress - Shopping App experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting with about 49K and reaching a high of approximately 72K in early November. Active user numbers showed a consistent increase, starting at 1.3M and concluding the quarter at nearly 1.5M.

For SHEIN-Shopping Online, downloads decreased steadily from around 86K at the start of the quarter to about 46K by the end. Active users also saw a decline, falling from over 4.1M to approximately 3.9M during the same period.

Morrisons More showed a promising increase in downloads, with numbers rising from 53K to a peak of 67K in mid-December. Active users grew from 841K to over 1M, demonstrating strong engagement throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Tesco Grocery & Clubcard maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 50K weekly. Active users hovered around 3.6M, dipping slightly mid-quarter but recovering by year-end.
