In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top shopping applications on the Android platform in Germany demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active user engagement. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a snapshot of the market dynamics.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at 187K at the beginning of the quarter and closing at 97K by the end. Active users initially decreased from 4.6M to 3.7M but rebounded to 4.5M by the end of December.

Lidl Plus experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting from 49K and peaking at 83K in mid-December. Active users also grew steadily, reaching over 5M by the end of the quarter.

The app PENNY Angebote & Coupons showed a significant rise in downloads, climbing from 28K to 91K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from 895K to nearly 1.6M.
