Top Insurance Apps on Android in Panama: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top insurance applications on the Android platform in Panama demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. According to Sensor Tower data, here's a closer look at the trends observed for these apps.

Unity, published by UnitySeguros, saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter. Starting at 55 downloads at the beginning of October, it peaked at 90 in mid-November before settling to 46 by the end of December.

BlueCross BlueShield Panama from Internacional de Seguros experienced a notable increase in downloads in mid-October, reaching 92, before gradually declining to 35 downloads by the end of the year.

Odontoprev, offered by Odontoprev S.A., had a steady decline in downloads, starting from 51 at the beginning of October and dropping to 19 by the end of December. Its active users also showed a downward trend, decreasing from 145 to 96 over the same period.

Aetna Health by Aetna Inc. demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, rising from 40 at the start to 87 by the end of December. Weekly active users for Aetna Health also increased significantly, reaching 195 by the last week of December.

Finally, SulAmérica Saúde from SulAmérica Seguros maintained a relatively stable download pattern, with slight fluctuations throughout the quarter. Active users, however, showed a decrease from 365 in early October to 337 by the end of December.
