In the fourth quarter of 2024, the UK’s top dating apps on the Android platform showcased diverse performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, which started at approximately $224K and dipped to $185K in early December. However, there was a slight rebound, ending the year around $200K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 11.3K in the final week of December, while weekly active users decreased from around 345K to just over 309K by year-end.

Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained a strong revenue stream, starting at $300K and finishing the quarter at $317K. Downloads varied, with a significant increase to 11K in the last week. Active users peaked at over 443K in early October, ending the quarter with approximately 391K users.

Hinge Dating App: Match & Date experienced a revenue dip from $167K to $173K by the end of December, with a noticeable drop mid-quarter. Downloads decreased steadily, hitting a low of 7.2K but recovering to 9K towards the end. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 310K and ending just over 302K.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends experienced a slight decrease in revenue, starting at $13.8K and closing at $12.2K. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 9.5K. Active users also saw an uptick, rising to 28K in the last weeks of December.

Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date showed a stable revenue trend with a slight dip from $80.5K to $70.7K by year-end. Downloads remained consistent, with a peak of 7.2K in December. The active user count increased steadily, reaching 132K by the end of the quarter.
