Top 5 Utilities Apps on Unified Platform in Ukraine, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the utilities app market in Ukraine showcased notable trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. These apps exhibited varying patterns in downloads, weekly active users, and revenue generation on a unified platform encompassing both iOS and Android.

Резерв+, published by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, saw a dynamic download trajectory starting at 237K downloads at the beginning of July, tapering to around 47K by the end of September. Meanwhile, its weekly active user base began at approximately 493K, gradually declining to 385K over the quarter.

Google maintained a steady range of weekly downloads, starting with 29K in early July and peaking at 42K in September. The app's weekly active users hovered consistently around the 9M mark throughout the quarter.

The Дія app, from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, experienced a stable download pattern with a slight increase to 70K in mid-September. Its weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 2.6M in early September before settling at 2.2M by quarter's end.

Getcontact recorded consistent weekly revenues, reaching $55K by late September. Downloads started at 37K, showing a gradual increase to 37K by the end of the quarter. Its active user base saw a decrease from 1.3M to 1.1M over the same period.

Lastly, Cleanup: Phone Storage Cleaner showed a remarkable revenue growth trajectory, starting at $1.6K in early July and rising to $8K by the end of September. Downloads spiked to 23K in early August before stabilizing at approximately 11K in September. The app's weekly active users increased from 25K to over 61K during the quarter.
