Top 5 Utilities Apps Performance on Unified Platform in Tunisia, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five utilities applications in Tunisia, as captured by Sensor Tower, showcased varied trends across downloads and active users on a unified platform.

Truecaller: Caller ID Blocker saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, with figures climbing from around 13K in early July to a peak of 40K by mid-September. Revenue for this app fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately $291 in the week of September 16. Meanwhile, its active user base displayed a gradual increase, rising from about 2.2M to over 2.3M by the end of the quarter.

Google Chrome maintained a relatively steady download rate, beginning at 2.8K in early July and ending at approximately 2.9K in late September. The active user count remained stable, hovering around 4M throughout the quarter.

Google also experienced stable weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 3.2K to 4.1K. Active users fluctuated slightly, mostly remaining close to 4M during the quarter.

My Ooredoo Tunisie recorded a significant surge in weekly downloads, particularly in late August and September, when numbers spiked to over 49K. Active users increased from approximately 328K to over 401K, indicating growing engagement with the app.

Finally, Offline:Music Player & Browser saw a modest yet steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 929 in early July and reaching 1.6K by the end of September. The number of active users also rose, from 3.5K to over 5.1K during the same period.
