Top 5 Utilities Apps Performance in Hungary Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top five utilities apps on the unified platform in Hungary showed varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google demonstrated a steady increase in downloads throughout the quarter, beginning at 6.2K in early July and rising to nearly 9K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, with numbers generally hovering around 2.7M, peaking at 2.75M in mid-August.

Google Chrome experienced a modest but consistent download rate, starting at 5.1K in the first week of July and ending at 5.5K by the end of September. The app maintained a stable weekly active user base, averaging around 5.85M throughout the quarter.

Telekom alkalmazás saw a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 11K in mid-September. Despite some fluctuations, weekly active users peaked at approximately 244.6K in early September before settling at 223K by the end of the quarter.

Google Authenticator experienced a significant rise in downloads, particularly in early September with 10.6K. The app's weekly active users rose steadily, reaching a peak of 79K in early September before ending the quarter at 77.3K.

Yettel HU maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 5.8K to 7.2K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, peaking at 127.3K in mid-September before closing the quarter at 118.3K.
