In the third quarter of 2024, the top utilities applications in France showcased notable trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google recorded a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at over 125K in mid-August. Weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating around 17M throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome experienced a varied download pattern, with a high of approximately 75K downloads in early September. The app maintained a stable base of active users, averaging around 24M weekly.

France Identité saw a surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 107K by late September. Its active user count also increased steadily, climbing from approximately 336K at the start of July to nearly 247K by the end of September.

L’Identité Numérique La Poste displayed a consistent download trend, with numbers ranging between 46K and 89K. Active users showed a slight decline initially but stabilized around 350K towards the end of the quarter.

Finally, Leboncoin had a peak in downloads mid-August with over 80K, while weekly active users grew from around 3.3M at the beginning of July to over 3.7M by the end of September.
