Top 5 Travel Apps in Ukraine Q3 2024 Performance Overview

In the third quarter of 2024, the travel app market in Ukraine displayed intriguing patterns across various metrics. According to Sensor Tower data, here is an overview of the top five travel applications on a unified platform in this region.

Ukrainian Railways experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 62.4K in early July and decreasing to about 21.7K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users hovering around 302K in late September, following a peak of roughly 329K in early August.

Bolt: Request a Ride showcased fluctuating download numbers, peaking at nearly 50K in the week of July 8, before tapering off to approximately 31.3K at the end of the quarter. The app's active users saw a peak of around 388K in late August, followed by a decline to about 296K by the end of September.

Uklon: More Than a Taxi demonstrated a similar trend in downloads, with a high of around 52K in early July, which decreased to approximately 35.2K by late September. Weekly active users displayed a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, reaching about 269K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel witnessed a steady decline in downloads, starting from around 25.3K in early July and decreasing to roughly 11K by the end of September. Active user numbers followed a downward trajectory as well, falling from approximately 250K to about 163K over the same period.

Lastly, JET.UA experienced a decrease in downloads, starting at about 19.4K in early July and dropping to nearly 9.9K by the quarter's end. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip from around 94.2K in early September to approximately 86.6K by the end of the month.
