In the third quarter of 2024, the travel app landscape in Slovenia showed interesting trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at each app's performance in terms of downloads and active users on a unified platform.

EasyPark - Parking made easy experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 3.8K in mid-August. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, rising from about 13.4K at the beginning of July to nearly 15K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel witnessed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 2.5K in early July and tapering off to below 900 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar downward trajectory, decreasing from nearly 47.7K to about 40.7K over the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained relatively stable download numbers, with slight fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads ranged from a high of nearly 1K in early August to around 585 in the final week of September. Active users remained steady, hovering between 6.6K and 7.2K.

Ryanair showed a varied pattern in weekly downloads, with numbers increasing from about 800 in early July to a peak of over 1.2K in early September, before settling back down towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased from approximately 4.6K to 5.5K, before slightly declining towards late September.

Airbnb saw its downloads gradually decrease throughout the quarter, starting at around 887 and dropping to 434 by late September. The active user base showed a more stable pattern, fluctuating slightly around the 10K mark across the quarter.
