In the third quarter of 2024, the travel app landscape in Italy witnessed notable trends in downloads and active user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five travel apps on a unified platform.

EasyPark - Parking made easy saw a peak in downloads at the beginning of August with approximately 105K downloads, before experiencing a decline towards the end of September, finishing with around 27K downloads. The app maintained a steady base of weekly active users, fluctuating around 260K to 290K throughout the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a consistent decline in downloads, starting at approximately 74K in early July and decreasing to about 32K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decreasing trend, dropping from around 2.8M at the start to about 1.9M by the end of the quarter.

Ryanair experienced a varied download pattern, peaking mid-August with about 55K downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from approximately 290K to 370K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
