Q3 2024 Travel Apps Performance in Ireland on Unified Platform

In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel applications in Ireland showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at these insights.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a notable presence with weekly downloads starting at approximately 10K at the beginning of July and gradually declining to around 6.4K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained robust, starting at 311K and closing the quarter at about 304K.

Ryanair experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from around 9.4K in early July to roughly 6.3K by the end of September. Active users also showed a slight decline, beginning the quarter at 33.6K and dropping to about 30.4K.

Leap Top Up saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at 4.8K and peaking at 9.1K in mid-September before settling at 6.5K by the end of September. Active users demonstrated a strong upward trend, rising from 119K to a peak of 131K in early September, before a slight decrease to 118K.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.7K and declining to 3.7K by the end of the quarter. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 26K to 29K range.

TFI Live also experienced an upward trajectory in downloads, starting at 5.2K and reaching 9.2K in early September, before ending the quarter at 6.8K. Active users increased steadily from 174K to a peak of 189K in early September, before a slight dip to 170K at the quarter's end.
