In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel applications in Spain displayed varied performance metrics across downloads and active users on a unified platform, comprising both iOS and Android data. According to Sensor Tower, these trends provide valuable insights into the travel app market dynamics during this period.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 67.7K in mid-July, followed by a decline to approximately 49.8K by mid-September. Active users remained relatively stable, with a noticeable increase from about 1.09M at the start of the quarter to 1.11M by the end.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a decline in weekly downloads from 70.5K in mid-July to 39.3K by the end of September. Active user counts also decreased, starting from 2.42M at the beginning of the quarter and dropping to 1.79M by the end.

Airbnb displayed a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 55.6K in early July and ending at 35.1K in late September. The active user base followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 555K to 426K over the same period.
