Q3 2024 Travel Apps Performance in Dominican Republic

In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel applications in the Dominican Republic, as reported by Sensor Tower, showcased varied performance in terms of downloads and active users on a unified platform.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 18.5K in early July and decreasing to approximately 14.5K by the end of September. Weekly active users also experienced a slight decrease from 253K to 210K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 11K and 13.7K weekly. The app's weekly active users remained stable, starting at 425K and slightly increasing to 435K towards the end of September.

Airbnb experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting with 6.9K in July, dipping to around 4K in mid-August, and then rising again to 5.8K by the end of September. Its weekly active users showed resilience, starting at 90K and ending the quarter at approximately 90K, with some fluctuations in between.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a steady download rate, beginning at 4.5K and ending at about 5.5K in September. Active users slightly decreased from 169K at the start of the quarter to 162K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a stable download pattern, starting at 3K in early July, with minor fluctuations, ending at 2.6K in late September. Weekly active users exhibited a growth trend, increasing from 56K to 57K throughout the quarter.
