In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel apps in Switzerland exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

SBB Mobile experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 5.3K in early July and peaking at approximately 9.3K by mid-September. Active users fluctuated around 348K initially, with a slight dip mid-quarter, but concluded the period with a stable figure of around 352K.

Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent rise in downloads, culminating at nearly 12K in the final week of September. Active user numbers also grew, starting from roughly 293K and reaching a peak of about 308K before slightly dropping to 297K by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a gradual decrease in active users, from approximately 325K in early July to around 280K by the end of September. However, download numbers remained relatively stable, concluding the quarter with about 9.4K.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained stable download numbers, with a slight dip in August but ending strong at around 7.3K. Active user engagement stayed consistent, starting at 24.9K and ending the quarter at 26.5K.

SWISS experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at over 10K in the last week of September. Active users also saw growth, beginning at about 11.4K and rising to 14.6K by the quarter's end.
