In the third quarter of 2024, the shopping app market in Qatar demonstrated varied performance trends across different platforms, with insights provided by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five shopping apps:

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 39.6K at the beginning of July to 16.2K by the end of September. However, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 144K throughout the quarter.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a gradual decrease in downloads, from 7.8K in early July to approximately 4.1K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a steady base of weekly active users, ending the quarter with about 147K.

Alibaba.com showed a similar pattern with its downloads dropping from 6.2K to around 3.1K over the quarter. Nonetheless, the app's weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 92K.

MAF Carrefour Online Shopping had a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 5K and falling to 2.8K by late September. The app's weekly active users, however, showed resilience, averaging approximately 36K throughout the quarter.
