In the third quarter of 2024, the shopping app landscape in Lebanon showcased diverse trends across the top five applications. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a detailed look into their performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

SHEIN - Shopping Online demonstrated a notable journey in weekly downloads, beginning at around 18K in early July and peaking at approximately 32K by late August. However, there was a decline towards the end of September, closing at about 8.2K. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting the quarter with nearly 384K, reaching a high of 423K in late August, and then tapering off to 334K by the end of the quarter.

Alibaba.com experienced a steady download pattern, with numbers ranging from 10K to 14K. The peak occurred in late August with 14.4K downloads. Active users started at 286K and slightly increased to a peak of 301K in late August, before declining to 258K by the end of September.

dubizzle OLX Lebanon saw a gradual decrease in downloads, starting from 6K in July and ending at about 4.6K in September. Active users showed a similar trend, beginning at 87K and decreasing to 74K by the quarter's close.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire had a modest download count, starting with 4.2K and peaking at 5.4K in mid-August, before dropping to 1.9K by September's end. Active user numbers increased from 19K to a peak of 23K in late August, then slightly decreased to 19.7K by the quarter's conclusion.

Ishtari saw a rise in downloads from 1.8K to a peak of 5.9K in early August, followed by a decline to 2.4K by the end of September. Active users increased from 3K to 7K in early August, subsequently decreasing to 4.2K by the end of the quarter.
