Top 5 Shopping Apps Performance in Latin America Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top shopping apps on the unified platform in Latin America showcased varied performance patterns. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated significant engagement and download activity.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 5M in early August. The app's weekly active users showed a robust upward trend, climbing from around 18.5M at the beginning of July to nearly 29.9M by the end of September.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 2.2M and ending with about 2.3M. Despite fluctuations, weekly active users remained relatively steady, closing the quarter at about 36.3M.

For Mercado Libre: Compras Online, weekly downloads hovered around 1.3M, with a peak of 1.5M in early September. Weekly active users exhibited a minor decrease towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 44.2M.

Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero faced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at over 1M in early July and dropping to about 626K by late September. However, weekly active users remained stable, maintaining a level around 37.6M towards the quarter's end.

Amazon Shopping reported a significant spike in downloads mid-July, reaching over 1.6M, before stabilizing around 537K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a slight dip during the quarter, concluding at approximately 12.2M. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $134K in mid-August.
