In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five news applications in Panama revealed interesting trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights offer a glimpse into the app market dynamics in this region.

X from X Corp. displayed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1K in late September. Weekly downloads showed fluctuation, with a significant rise to approximately 8K in late July, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 360K to 390K throughout the quarter.

For Reddit, the quarterly revenue reached a modest peak of $40 in mid-August. Downloads saw an upward trend in July, peaking at about 1.3K, and active users remained steady, averaging around 52K.

Programación TV Panamá • Guía Televisión (PA), despite generating no revenue, saw its downloads decline significantly, starting at over 600 in early July and dropping to below 100 by the end of September.
