The third quarter of 2024 saw varying performance trends among the top 5 news applications in the Dominican Republic on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the download, revenue, and active user trends for each app.

X from X Corp. experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.5K in early July and peaking at nearly $1.9K in mid-August. Weekly downloads showed a significant spike during the week of July 29, reaching over 10K, and another peak in mid-August with more than 11K downloads. Active user numbers remained robust, averaging around 700K throughout the quarter, despite a slight dip in early September.

Reddit maintained a steady weekly download rate, with numbers hovering around 1.7K to 2.1K. Active users increased gradually, starting at about 61K in early July and rising to nearly 70K by the end of September. Notably, Reddit did not generate any significant revenue during this period.
