In the third quarter of 2024, Bulgaria's top 5 news applications showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Reddit recorded a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at $34 and peaking at $76 in the week of July 8, before settling at $29 by the end of September. Downloads peaked at 2.8K in late July, followed by a decline to 1.6K by the quarter's end. Active users displayed a steady increase, reaching over 76K in late September.

X from X Corp. saw its highest weekly revenue at $972 in mid-August, with a consistent figure around $900 towards the end of the quarter. Downloads were highest in early August at 2.7K and declined to 1.8K by the end of September. Active users showed a gradual decrease, from around 157.5K to approximately 141.9K over the quarter.

Google News, while not generating revenue, maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 295 downloads in late July. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a small decrease from about 62.7K in early July to 59.2K by the end of September.

NovaTV experienced its highest downloads at 183 in early July, with a notable decrease to 40 in late July, and then a small rebound to 138 by the end of September.
