In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top news applications in Slovakia on the unified platform, which includes both iOS and Android users, showcased interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying patterns in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Denník N, published by N Press s.r.o., saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $10.8K in late September. Downloads for this app showed a gradual rise, starting from 143 in early July and reaching 223 by the end of September.

SME.sk from Petit Press, a.s., experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, with a notable peak of $5.2K in early September. The app's weekly downloads varied, beginning at 81 and increasing to 153 by the end of the quarter.

X, by X Corp., maintained a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, reaching a high of $1.2K in mid-September. Its weekly downloads remained robust, hovering around 1.3K to 1.6K. However, the app's active user base showed a gradual decline from 115K to 104K.
