The third quarter of 2024 saw notable trends in the performance of South America's top navigation apps on a unified platform. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 235K to 256K weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 256.9K in mid-August. The app's weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating between 11.5M and 11.9M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced the highest weekly downloads, peaking at 362.3K in late July. Weekly active users showed a stable pattern, ranging from 9.2M to nearly 9.8M, with a slight increase towards the beginning of September.

Moovit: All Transit Options demonstrated a steady revenue stream, reaching up to $20.3K by early September. Downloads fluctuated between 171K and 202K, while active users ranged from 4.9M to 5.8M, showing a gradual increase mid-quarter.

Cittamobi: Transporte Coletivo saw a moderate increase in downloads, peaking at 55.7K in early August. The app's revenue also showed a positive trend, reaching $2.5K in early September, and active users grew steadily from 870K to approximately 1M.
