During the third quarter of 2024, the navigation app landscape in Latvia saw varying performance trends across the top five applications on a unified platform, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a relatively stable download trend, with weekly downloads fluctuating around the 1.4K mark. The highest downloads were seen in the week of July 22, peaking at approximately 1.5K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting strong with over 2.2K downloads in early July, the numbers tapered to around 1.6K by the end of September.

Neste saw a significant increase in weekly downloads as the quarter progressed. Downloads surged from 578 in early July to over 1K by mid-September, indicating growing user interest.

For Moovit: All Transit Options, the quarter was marked by a steady revenue increase, starting from $42 in early July and peaking at $88 by mid-September. Downloads, however, witnessed a declining trend, beginning at 436 and dropping to 342 by the end of the quarter.

Yandex Maps & Navigator had a modest revenue growth, with weekly figures rising from $3 to $15 by late September. Downloads showed a downward trajectory, starting at 295 and decreasing to 188 by the quarter's end.
