Top 5 Navigation Apps Performance in Hungary, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation apps in Hungary showed diverse performance trends on a unified platform. According to Sensor Tower, Google Maps maintained a steady download rate with figures fluctuating between 6.5K and 8.6K throughout the quarter. Active users experienced a slight decline from approximately 366K to 342K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads peak at around 13.9K in mid-August before tapering off to 6.9K by the end of September. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, starting the quarter at 310K and ending with 291K.

For Shell: Fuel & Rewards, downloads showed a declining trend, starting at 4K in early July and dropping to about 1.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users displayed a similar pattern, decreasing from 29.7K to 25.3K.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced a modest revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging from $82 to $228. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, peaking at over 3.1K in late August, while active users hovered around 27K to 29K.

Lastly, bergfex: hiking & tracking showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching over $1.5K in August before settling at $1.1K by the end of September. Downloads initially increased, peaking at 3.8K in mid-August, but later declined to 736 by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar trend, rising to over 11K in late August and then decreasing to 7.9K.
