Top 5 Navigation Apps in Germany: Q3 2024 Performance

The third quarter of 2024 saw varying performance metrics among the top five navigation apps in Germany, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 99K in mid-August. The app experienced a slight decline in active users from 11M to around 10.7M by the end of September.

ImmoScout24 - Real Estate showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching over 44K weekly by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a downward trend, dropping from 1.6M to about 1.5M. Revenue fluctuated modestly, peaking at $55 in early August.

Blitzer.de led in revenue among the top apps, with weekly earnings reaching as high as $124K in mid-July. The app maintained stable downloads, hovering around 36K weekly, while active users increased slightly to 315K by the end of September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic witnessed fluctuations in downloads, peaking at 36K in late July, and active users peaked at 768K in mid-August before tapering off to 670K.

Shell: Fuel & Rewards experienced a decline in downloads, starting from 25K in early July to 22K by quarter's end. However, active users saw an upward trend, reaching 123K at the close of September.
