Top 5 Navigation Apps in the US: Q3 2024 Performance Overview

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation applications in the United States demonstrated varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these leading apps on a unified platform.

onX Hunt: GPS Hunting Maps from onXmaps, Inc. showed a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $1.3M in early July and climbing steadily to approximately $2.6M by the end of September. Weekly downloads also surged, beginning at 24.2K and peaking at 97.7K in late September. The app's active users rose significantly from 132K to 224K throughout the quarter.

Trucker Path: Truck GPS & Fuel maintained a consistent revenue stream, starting at $238K and reaching about $344K by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 11.3K and 14.7K. Active users also exhibited a steady trend, with numbers hovering around 75K to 81K.

onX Offroad: Trail Maps & GPS experienced a decline in revenue, from $157K in early July to approximately $114K by the end of September. Downloads dropped from 46.5K to 29.9K, while active users decreased from 103K to 83.5K over the quarter.
