Top Navigation Apps Performance in Slovakia, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation apps in Slovakia demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of these trends.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps, developed by Sygic a. s., showed a notable decline in weekly revenue, beginning at around $8.5K in early July and decreasing to approximately $3.2K by the end of September. Downloads started at 1.6K and gradually dropped to 761 by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 4.4K in July before tapering off to 2.5K.

Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies S.R.L. saw fluctuations in revenue, starting with $2.2K and ending with $1K. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 150 to 200. Active users mirrored this stability, ranging from 200 to 240 throughout the quarter.

Geocaching® by Groundspeak Inc. experienced modest revenue changes, beginning at $1.6K, dipping to around $1K mid-quarter, and stabilizing at the same figure by the end. Downloads peaked at nearly 1K in late July but declined to 292 by September's close. Active users had a similar trajectory, reaching 1.7K in early August before settling at 827.

Bikemap: Bicycle Tracker & GPS from Bikemap GmbH reported a peak revenue of $1.5K in August, which decreased to $644 by the end of September. Downloads decreased from 861 in early July to 258 by the quarter's end, while active users declined from 2.5K to 1.9K over the same period.

Lastly, TomTom GO Navigation by TomTom showcased a consistent revenue stream, maintaining around $700 to $943. Downloads spiked at 1.1K in mid-July but later stabilized between 112 and 238. Active users had a noticeable peak of 1.2K in mid-July, decreasing to 408 by the end of September.
